President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today inspected reconstruction progress of the Baku roads, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
Beginning from Yusif Safarov street, including Uzeyir Hajibeyov and Pushkin streets, Azadlyg avenue, all roads have been surfaced with the two-layer asphalt.
President Ilham Aliyev was told that the French-made paint used for road surface marking is durable. The sidewalk along the road has been paved with granite for the first time in Baku.
The President learnt that external appearance of buildings is being restored by using national facade decoration.
Reconstruction is also in progress on the Zarifa Aliyeva street, Neftchiler, Parliament and Huseyn Javid avenues.
Reconstruction work is being carried out by the Baku Mayor's Office in line with President Ilham Aliyev's instructions.
