Employees of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations are participate in training organized by NATO. Chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and search and rescue teams consisting of 27 people are participating in the international training, 'ZHETYSU 2009', near Almaty on September 5-11, the message posted on the ministry’s official website said.

Employees of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations are participate in training organized by NATO.

Chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and search and rescue teams consisting of 27 people are participating in the international training, 'ZHETYSU 2009', near Almaty on September 5-11, the message posted on the ministry's official website said.

The training has been organized by the NATO Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre and the Kazakh Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The training session aims to exchange experience on the activity of both international and local rescue brigades during emergency situations potentially occurring in Kazakhstan.

The corresponding organizations are from 26 countries, NATO members and partners, the UN and the Red Cross and the Red Crescent Societies. Over 1,500 people, including observers, will participate in the meeting.
