President of Azerbaijan İlham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory message to his Maltese counterpart George Abela on the country`s İndependence day, AzerTaj State News Agency reported on Saturday.
The President expressed hope that friendly and co-operative relations between Azerbaijan and Malta will continue to develop in accordance with the interests of the two countries` peoples.
The Head of State wished the Maltese leader robust health, successes in his activities and the friendly people of Malta peace and prosperity.
