Unity of parties which do interact on the basis of trust but lay down terms to each other is out of question, deputy executive secretary of New Azerbaijan Party, Siyavush Novruzov, said in an interview with website of the party on October 27.
"The organizations established by the opposition will be ruined. The work must not be done for selfish ends," Novruzov said.
Serious differences occurred in the Movement for Karabakh and Republic uniting opposition parties.
Municipal elections will be held in Azerbaijan on December 23.
He said that there are no parties except New Azerbaijan Party. The reason is their impossibility to participate in elections as parties due to unavailability to them.
"They are not well prepared. They began to choose candidates after launch of the elections. But the New Azerbaijan Party has already chosen candidates and prepared corresponding documents before launch of the elections. We have been preparing for the municipal elections for a year," Novruzov said.
The important condition is constant participation of parties in elections and use of modern election technologies, executive secretary said.
