The project of Georgia's associated membership in EU will be presented in November, Georgian deputy foreign minister Nino Kalandadze said at a traditional briefing in the foreign ministry today.
She said that initiator of presentation of this document was European Commissioner for External Relations and European Neighbourhood Policy Benita Ferrero-Waldner. "Details of further presentation will be known later," Kalandadze said.
The EU and Georgia held talks on the associate membership agreement last week. This issue was discussed during the meeting between Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili and Benita Ferrero-Waldner Benita Ferrero-Waldner.
