A Czech parliamentary delegation will visit Georgia to support democratic development.

The delegation will meet with Vice Parliamentary Speaker Mikheil Machavarian, Foreign Parliamentary Relations Committee Chairman Akaki Minashvili, parliamentary opposition representatives, Georgian-Czech Parliamentary Friendship Group members, Parliamentary Human Rights Committee Chairman Giya Arsenishvili and Parliamentary Speaker David Bakradze.

Meetings will also be held Nov. 25. Guests will meet with Temporary Parliamentary Territorial Restoration Committee Chairman Shota Malashkhia and Parliamentary European Integration Committee Chairman David Darchiashvili.

The delegation is also expected to meet with Deputy Foreign Minister David Dzhalaganiya, and Corrections Minister Dmitri Shashkin, as well as State Reintegration Minister Temur Yakobashvili.

The delegation will visit Mtskheta Nov. 26 to see local sights.


The delegation comprises Senators Thomas Geary, Viteslav Jonas, Jiri Nedoma and Jaromi Shtettin and Martina Morawska.

Senator Vlastimil Senal is heading the delegation. The visit will end Nov. 27.
