Georgian President Michael Saakashvili awarded member of European Parliament Mary Isler Begin the Golden Fleece Order. The ceremony was held on the eve of the Rose Revolution's sixth anniversary celebration at the Presidential Palace
Diplomats accredited to the country, officials and public representatives attended the celebration.
Georgia has chosen the way of integration into Europe and the country is grateful to all who supported its development and protection in the international arena, Saakashvili said at the ceremony
"Begin is one of the supporters of Georgia's position in the EU," Saakashvili said
