Georgian FM mulls Georgian-Czech relations

Today, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexandre Nalbandov met with the delegation of senators of the Czech Republic, headed by Vlastimil Sehnal.

The sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral and multilateral relations existing between the two states, including the issues of close cooperation within the international organizations and Georgia's integration with European and Euro-Atlantic structures, the ministry reported.

The Georgian side provided the delegation of the Czech Republic with the comprehensive information on current situation on occupied territories, ongoing internal political processes and reforms in Georgia. The Georgian side made special mention of Czech support and importance of sharing the experience in the process of Georgia's integration with European and Euro-Atlantic structures.

At the meeting the Czech side reaffirmed unconditional support of the Czech Republic for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia.
