Members of Azerbaijani Parliament, who watched on Sunday the presidential elections in Ukraine, will give them their initial assessment on Monday morning, MP Ganira Pashayeva told Trend by phone on Sunday.
According to her, the Azerbaijani MPs observe the elections as part of the parliamentary assemblies of the Council of Europe and the CIS. In particular, the observation mission of the Azerbaijani MPs Ganira Pashayeva and Sabir Hagiyev carried out as part of PACE, the two other deputies Rufat Guliyev and Nizami Iskenderov - in the CIS PA.
Pashayeva noted that the Azerbaijani MPs observe the elections at polling stations in Kiev.
Pashayeva also noted that members of the Azerbaijani parliament were observers at polling stations where Viktor Yanukovych and Viktor Yushchenko have voted.
