Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will visit Kazakhstan on February 21-22, Kazakh Foreign Ministry spokesman Ilyas Omarov told Trend .
"The purpose of the visit is discussion of political, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation with Kazakh leadership", Ilyas Omarov said.
He said the urgency of the visit is stipulated by the necessity of deepening the achieved level of the Kazakh-Russian cooperation and further development of multifaceted ties between our countries.
"In particular, we are talking about expansion of opportunities in resolving the challenges of political stability on the continent, the maximum full potential of the two countries in all directions", Omarov said.
