U.S Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, Richard Holbrooke's visit to Georgia is a demonstration of a positive attitude and support, Speaker of the Georgian Parliament David Bakradze said.
During the visit, Georgia's participation in Afghanistan's peacekeeping operation will be discussed, along with other issues, he said in an interview with journalists.
"Richard Holbrooke is a person in White House administration, whom the mandate of the operation in Afghanistan was entrusted. His visit to Georgia, to some extent, demonstrates a positive attitude and support," Bakradze said.
This visit will take place on February 22.
