Engine trouble causes air crash in Tbilisi

According to preliminary data, engine trouble likely caused a training aircraft to crash at the Thirty-First Factory in Tbilisi. An investigation is underway. Two pilots died in the crash.

The A-22 plane's engine stopped working during the flight, after which the plane crashed into a nearby building.

The incident occurred at 5:30 p.m. April 6.

Instructor Konstantin Zhukovsky and student Gela Begashvili died in the crash.
