Participants of the rallies in 'solidarity with political prisoners' in front of the Parliament of Georgia blocked the Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi.
The action was attended by around 200 people. Conservative Party leader Zviad Dzidziguri, chairman of the Kartuli Dashi Jonden Bagaturiya, members of the Alliance for Georgia Koka Guntsadze and Goga Khaindrava joined them.
During the rally, Solidarity with Political Prisoners movement leader
Eka Beselia announced May 21 the Day of Solidarity with illegal prisoners and political prisoners.
After a brief rally, the participants moved to the Supreme Court of Georgia. During the rally, they briefly blocked traffic on the main street of the capital.
