Azerbaijan and Belarus plan to sign an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the science and technology, the Belarusian State Committee on Science and Technology told BELTA.
A draft agreement has been prepared and will be signed in early June. The document will be signed during a Belarusian delegation visit to Baku in early June 2010.
The committee also said that during the Belarusian National Exhibition in Azerbaijan, several documents on cooperation between scientific institutes and centers were signed.
The Belarusian State University signed a protocol of intent to cooperate with the Silvesberg scientific and engineering consulting company. The university also signed a memorandum of understanding with Baku State University, which envisages student and professor exchanges.
