The Georgian side sees no particular threat in the opening of the so-called Abkhaz embassies in Venezuela and Nicaragua, Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Nino Kalandadze said at the weekly press briefing today.

She said that it is understandable that those countries that have recognized Abkhazia's independence, will open so-called official representations in their countries." Despite this, the international community will give an adequate assessment and does not recognize these embassies, she said.

A statement about the opening of the so-called Abkhaz embassies in Venezuela and Nicaragua was made a few days ago by Foreign Minister of internationally unrecognized regime of Abkhazia Maxim Gvindzhiya.
