The Georgian Foreign Ministry attaches great importance to the Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili's forthcoming visit to France, Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze said at the traditional Monday news briefing.
This visit will be at the highest level, from which the Georgian side waits the continuation of political support, Kalandadze added.
Saakashvili will leave for Paris with a three-day visit June 6. He will meet with French President Nicolas Sarkozy, Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner and other officials.
Saakashvili also is expected to speak at France's leading universities and research centers.
