Uzbek President: SCO countries ready to provide comprehensive assistance to stabilize situation in Kyrgyzstan

Leaders of the SCO member-states confirmed their readiness to render all assistance to the early stabilization and the legitimization of power in Kyrgyzstan, Uzbek President Islam Karimov said.
The SCO countries declare about the unity of positions on issues dealing with the situation in Kyrgyzstan in the Tashkent Summit Declaration.
"The declaration recorded our common position on this issue. We express our full solidarity with the Kyrgyz people and our shared concern about the difficult situation in the republic," Karimov said at the SCO Member States Heads Council in Ashgabat.
He stressed that Uzbekistan's position expressed in the country's foreign ministry's statement in April, remains the same: the events in this country - is, first and foremost, an internal affair of Kyrgyzstan.
