Representatives of the Azerbaijani opposition Musavat Party and the "Union for Democracy" attempted to hold a unsanctioned protest today.
Approximately 15-20 representatives of the opposition tried to hold a rally near the Elmler Akademiyasi metro station, but failed.
The Baku City Executive Power defined several places for holding mass actions. The available places are stadium at Sahil avenue of Garadagh district, stadium in front of Trust "Azneftgeofizika" in Sabunchi district, the stadium named after Tofig Ismayilov in Surakhani district and stadium of 3155th quarter in Yasamal district, as well as Turkani settlement of Azizbeyov region, the area opposite the cinema "Tabriz" in the Nizami district and opposite the Ulduz metro station in the Narimanov district.
