The Georgian Defence Ministry's building in Tbilisi caught fire today. Fifteen fire engines were involved in the scene, Tbilisi Emergency Situations Service told Trend.
The process of evacuation of Defense Ministry's employees is underway. According to the Defence Ministry's spokeman Salome Makharadze the fire started in the ventilation system.
The fire was noticed by staff who immediately called the fire brigade.
The area around the Defence Ministry's building is surrounded by police patrols.
