French Foreign and European Affairs Minister Bernard Kouchner will pay an official visit to Georgia July 14-15, the French Embassy in Georgia reported.

French Foreign and European Affairs Minister Bernard Kouchner will pay an official visit to Georgia July 14-15, the French Embassy in Georgia reported.

Kouchner will arrive at the Tbilisi airport at 10:00 p.m. July 14. He will then head to the presidential palace to have an official dinner to celebrate Bastille Day with Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili.

Kouchner will meet opposition leaders July 15 and later speak with the diplomatic corps and civil society on "Europe: Past and Future Challenges."

He will also meet Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze, as well as visit a French school and the embassy's new building.

Kouchner will also travel to Coda to see a refugee camp. He will meet with Georgian Refugee and Resettlement Minister Koba Subeliani, U.N. Foundation Representative Peter Nicholas, EU Monitoring Mission Chief Hans-Joerg Habber and Deputy Chief, General Gilles Janvier.
