Georgia, Tbilisi, August 3 / Trend N. Kirtskhalia /

Georgian State Minister for Reintegration Temur Yakobashvili said that the Georgian leadership does not intend to hand over the power. This statement was made in response to plans to convene an expanded meeting of the initiative group "Public assembly", which plans to take power.

"Their intention to convene a meeting is real. With regard to the seizure of power, it is not concentrated in any place just to take it," Minister said.

An extended meeting of the initiative group was scheduled for September 29.

The radical opposition claims that all layers of the society will be represented in the "national assembly". Power will be changed. However, nothing was reported about ways of its change.
