A person trying to pass drugs to a prisoner was detained.
About 4.881 grams of heroin was revealed in eleven candies wrapped in cellophane. Barda region resident Anar Jafarov was trying to pass drugs to his close relative Khalig Mammadov, who is serving his sentence in the Gobustan prison, the Ministry of Justice penal service spokesman told Trend.
A criminal case is filed.
Mammadov was imprisoned for 11 years. He is accused of hooliganism and extortion.
