A gang of car thieves were arrested in Baku last week.
The Narimanov District Police Department arrested Babak Aliyev, Nagi Allahverdiyev, Alimovsum Safarov, and Ruslan Ibrahimov on Saturday, the Baku Chief Police Department told Trend today.
Two days earlier, the gang stole a vehicle on H. Rahimov Street. They also attempted to steal a second vehicle from the same area.
During the investigation, the police learned that the group stole a vehicle Oct.11, 2009 on the Sumgayit Highway, as well as two vehicles in Bilajari and Bilajari.
A criminal case has been filed. An investigation is underway.
