NATO official to arrive in Georgia today

Head of the NATO Defense Policy and Planning Division's Force Planning Department Frank Boland will arrive in Georgia today.
Boland will meet with senior officials, the Georgian Defense Ministry told Trend.
A group of NATO experts has already arrived to Georgia to evaluate the country's implementation of obligations under the Planning and Review Process and the Annual National Program.
The NATO delegation has held a meeting with the Defense Ministry. Deputy Defense Minister Nodar Kharshiladze and other ministry and military figures attended.
During the four-day visit, the group of experts will meet with the finance and interior ministries, as well as the National Security Council.
The delegation will also meet with the NATO military attaches and embassies in Tbilisi.
The delegation will leave Georgia on Sept. 10.
