Member of Parliament Guler Ahmedova is standing for election on the list of the ruling New Azerbaijan party, she told Trend, adding that she normally respects the decision of the party about the constituency she will represent.
"If a party changes the decision proceeding from the situation, a party member must normally respect this decision," she said.
Ahmedova withdrew her candidature on the single list of candidates of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party for the first Yasamal constituency No 15 and submitted her documents to the second Khatai constituency No 34. She became the single candidate from the ruling New Azerbaijan Party.
She said that unfortunately, some politicians can not properly assess the concept of "party" in Azerbaijan.
"I think that New Azerbaijan Party is the only and normal party in Azerbaijan. It has the right approach to these issues. Other parties commit strange acts and consider the ruling party's acts strange," she said.
Parliamentary elections will be held in Azerbaijan on Nov. 7.
