Nino Burjanadze accused the Georgian leadership is misinterpretation of the Venice Commission's conclusion. About it the leader of the Democratic Movement - United Georgia said at a press conference.

According to her, the country's leadership through controlled television channels presented the Commission's conclusion as an unprecedented positive. According to Burjanadze, in fact, the conclusion contains harshly criticism against the new draft constitution. She notes that the conclusion contains a lot of comments, which are ignored by the power and they intend to adopt a constitution without taking them into account.

The document also says that the new constitution does not allow protecting the balance between branches of government and facilitates to establish a super-premier republic.

According to Burjanadze, the conclusion also contains remarks in connection with the terms of appointment of judges. "I state with full responsibility that the international organizations are not talking in another language. It is simply impossible to write more critical and strict conclusion in the language of diplomacy," Burjanadze said.

Authorities keep the population in virtual reality, she said. "Today, Georgia is a modernized Soviet Union, where democracy is just a facade," Burjanadze said noting that the society must unite around Representative People's Assembly, which has a clear plan for liberation of Georgia.
