For the first time, Azerbaijan's food industry is represented in Qatar. Leading Qatari company Royal Food Services, engaged in import and export, has organized the sale of juices of the "Gilan Holding" company in Qatar.
The company today put up for sale Azerbaijani products in such leading worldwide known hypermarkets as the French international network Carrefour, the LuLu hypermarket, the company told Trend.
Products are in high demand, the company said.
The company believes that the Qatari consumers' interest in Azerbaijani products will significantly contribute to the trade turnover between the two countries.
According to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Qatar in January-July of 2010 amounted to $63,800.
