The Kutaisi Court of Appeal did not satisfy the claim of Adjara's ex-president Aslan Abashidze. The decision of the Batumi City Court made in 2007 remains in force. Abashidze was sentenced to 15 years.
He was charged with fraudulent use of official authority, damaging public property, misappropriation and embezzlement of state and public property in a large scale.
Abashidze is wanted now. He left Georgia six months after the "Rose Revolution".
At present, Abashidze lives in Moscow.
