Azerbaijani opposition bloc to support other candidates in constituencies where they do not have candidates

Azerbaijani opposition APPF-Musavat election bloc has decided to support other candidates in those constituencies where no candidate from the bloc has been registered, the bloc said.

Azerbaijani opposition APPF-Musavat election bloc has decided to support other candidates in those constituencies where no candidate from the bloc has been registered, the bloc said.

During today's meeting, the party leaders, members of the bloc, decided to support four candidates who have not been named in the list of bloc candidates, but are members of APFP and Musavat.
It was also decided to support other candidates in seven constituencies, where candidates from the bloc do not run for elections.
APPF-Musavat election bloc continues to review the proposals and requests to support other candidates in those constituencies where no candidate from the bloc has been registered, the report said.

The parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are scheduled for November 7, 2010. Previous parliamentary elections were held in November 2005. Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are held by the majority system in 125 constituencies.
