President of Turkmenistan expressed condolences on disaster in Indonesia

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has sent condolences to the President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in connection with the disaster which has befallen the country, resulted in numerous human casualties and destruction.
The head of Turkmenistan wished fortitude and strength to overcome the consequences of this natural disaster, and conveyed the sympathy and support to families and friends of those killed and injured, the press service of the Turkmen government reported.
According to news reports, the number of victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia has risen to 408 people, hundreds more people were injured.
Merapi volcano began erupting in Indonesia. Central Java Province, where Merapi started, is one of the most densely populated regions of the country and the Merapi is one of the largest volcanoes in Indonesia. Still ongoing eruption has killed 33 people.
