The next meeting of the Azerbaijani-Greek intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, which was scheduled for late November in Baku, is postponed.

Greece's Deputy Foreign Minister, Spyros Kouvelis was expected to visit the country to attend the meeting in Baku Nov.28-29, the Greek Embassy in Baku told Trend.

Baku was supposed to consider the prospects of bilateral political and economic cooperation. Date of the Commission's meeting is postponed due to technical reasons.

Kubelis is co-chair of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation. The commission is headed from the Azerbaijani side by the Minister of Industry and Energy Natig Aliyev.

According to the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Greece from January to August 2010 amounted to $104.1 million.
