Azerbaijan, Baku, Nov. 30 /Trend, T.Hajiyev/
The slander, written by such people as
Turgut Er, can not harm the Azerbaijani-Turkish brotherhood, chairperson of the Azerbaijani parliamentary committee on human rights, MP Rabiyat Aslanova told Trend Tuesday.
"Turgut Er wrote about the history of Azerbaijan from 1991 to the present day, which is far from true, false, baseless, and document is the product of his imagination," said Aslanova.
"Turgut Er wrote about the history of Azerbaijan since 1991, which is far from true, is false, baseless, and the product of his imagination," said Aslanova.
Some excerpts from the book "From freedom to tyranny" by Turgut Er - the former Turkish diplomat who worked in Azerbaijan, were published in the Azadliq newspaper.
"It needs to be a so ungrateful person to write false and defamatory words about the great personalities of Azerbaijan," said Aslanova.
According to Aslanova, the publication of the book by Turgut Er in an opposition newspaper is linked with the defeat of the opposition in parliamentary elections.
"Now, the Azerbaijani opposition is trying to justify the reason of its defeat in parliamentary elections and the lack of its authority in society, enjoys similar books and articles, and Turgut Er turned into a toy in its hands," said Aslanova.
