Georgia, Tbilisi, Dec.16 / Trend N. Kirtskhalia /

Geneva today will host the next, the 14th, round of peace talks on the Caucasus. The Georgian delegation headed by the Secretary of the National Security Council Giga Bokeria is in Switzerland.

According to the delegation members, the Georgian side's position on security issues remains unchanged.
"This will be the first meeting after the Georgian President voiced a peace initiative from the tribune of the European Parliament, assuming an obligation not to use force to restore territorial integrity, and we expect the reaction to this proposal," the head of the Abkhazian Legitimate Government George Baramia told reporters.

At the talks the Georgian side also intends to protest the terrorist attacks on its territory, backed by a Russian officer, Yevgeniy Borisov.

"We will provide the meeting participants with evidence of Borisov's involvement in the terrorist acts, and we think that this issue will be discussed," Shota Utiashvili, the delegation's member, the head of Analytical Department of the Interior Ministry said.

The Georgian side is also going to protest the process of confiscation of Georgians' property on the occupied territories.

Russian, Abkhaz and Ossetian sides intend to raise the issue of signing an agreement on nonrenewal of the fire. In this case, Moscow demands from Tbilisi signing this agreement with separatists in Sukhumi and Tskhinvali, but Georgia is ready to conclude such an agreement with Russia, which it considers the aggressor and occupier.
