Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev congratulated Japanese imperator Akihito, AzerTaj state news agency reported.
"I congratulate you and your people with national holiday Imperator's birthday. Today Azerbaijani-Japanese relations are developing dynamically. I am confident that our friendly ties, our bilateral cooperation, covering many areas of mutual interest will continue to serve the welfare of our peoples, the letter said.
President Aliyev wished Japanese people happiness, sound health and success in all spheres of activity.
