Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev will pay an official visit to China during early 2011, Kazakh Secretary of State and Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev said at a news briefing after talks with his Chinese counterpart Yang Jiechi.

"During the talks we discussed the organizational aspects of President Nazarbayev's visit to China upon Chinese President Hu Jintao's invitation," Saudabayev said.

Kazakhstan and China marked the fifth anniversary of adopting the Joint Declaration on the establishment and development of strategic partnership.

"This document is important not only for the development of bilateral relations, but also to create a regional environment of peace and stability," he said.

In turn, Jiechi noted the constructive cooperation between the two countries and invited Saudabayev for a return visit to China.

The Chinese leader last visited Astana on June 11-12, 2010. During the visit, the sides signed a number of documents on cooperation in energy and non-primary sectors of the economy.
