Georgia and the United Arab Emirates plan to simplify the visa regime, Georgian Prime Minister Nika Gilauri said after a meeting with the UAE Foreign Minister
Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
"We are interested in simplifying the visa regime and eliminating barriers for the UAE's investments," Gilauri told Georgian journalists after the meeting.
In turn, Al Nahyan also stressed the UAE's interest in Georgia, which, he said, is "dynamically developing."
"We are considering a number of directions to facilitate relations between our countries' representatives. In this regard, we discussed both visa regime simplification and opening air transport between the UAE and Georgia," the minister said.
