Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb. 15 /Trend, T.Jafarov/

Some opposition forces inside Iran wants to implement deceptive plans of "the Zionist regime" (Israel) and the U.S., but the vigilance of the people and security forces will not allow them to carry out their sinister plans," the spokesman of the parliamentary commission for foreign policy and national security, MP Kazim Jalali told Trend.

According to him, such actions can not break the national will of the Iranian people. "With the meeting held on Feb. 11, the Iranian people have demonstrated their solidarity with the country's current system and the supreme leader," said Jalali.

A traditional rally in honor of the 32nd anniversary of the Islamic revolution in Iran was conducted in Tehran on Feb. 11. Demonstrations began Feb. 14 in Tehran and other cities across the country in support of the peoples of Egypt and Tunisia. Interior Ministry has not issued permits to hold rallies. Clashes occurred between protesters and police. Iran's national security forces used tear gas against demonstrators when dispersing protestors on the squares of Azadi and Ingilab in Tehran. The mass protests in the capital of Iran killed at least one person, several demonstrators were injured, more than 200 protesters were arrested. Deputy Chief Command of Iranian Police Ahmedreza Radan said nine police officers were wounded during clashes with demonstrators.

According to Jalali, Feb. 14, there were attempts to conduct only a "small and insignificant assembly". Yesterday, there have been no significant events, only attempts were made for small gatherings in several places of the city. The total number of those gathered people were 50-100," said Jalali.

He considers it natural that people's patience for the opposition leaders has exhausted, and the demand of the people is to judge these leaders. "Patience of the Iranian people and the MPs has exhausted, and in such a situation, the demand of the people on making these persons responsible for the provocation is natural. Today, MPs said this," said Jalali.

180 Iranian MPs demanded the trial and execution of opposition leaders Mir Hussein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi. MPs accuse them of actions against national security, according to Iranian internet newspaper jamejamonline.ir.
