Turkmen President Gurbangulu Berdimuhammedov has signed a decree approving new regulations on licensing of publishing and printing activities, as well as on provisions for publishing.
"We attach a great importance to the development of the publishing industry, its improvement in accordance with the objectives of the new times, and the latest achievements in this sphere," Berdimuhammedov said at the governmental meeting.
These activities in Turkmenistan are controlled by the state at the full extent.
