The Baku City Executive Power did not allow the opposition Musavat Party to hold its rally scheduled for March 12 in front of the Tabriz Cinema, Musavat Party Central Executive Office Chief Arif Hajili said today.
The Baku authorities said no guarantees of safety can be ensured due to heavy traffic in the area. The Baku City Executive Power offered the party hold the rally at the Bibi Heybat Stadium.
Hajili said the party will hold the rally at a central square in Baku.
