Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze met with his Portuguese counterpart Luis Amado during his visit to Portugal.
The sides discussed topical issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation and Georgia-EU and Georgia-NATO relations, as well as the situation in the occupied territories and developments in the South Caucasus, the Georgian Foreign Ministry told Trend.
Following the meeting, the sides held a joint press conference on the issues discussed.
Vashadze said Portugal's support is very important for Georgia in joining NATO.
