Today, Turkmenistan has determined the winners of the Akhal-Teke horse competition, as well as the competition of the work of carpet masters, jewelers, painters and sculptors, glorifying the beauty of Akhal-Teke horses in the fine and decorative art.
These competitions were organized within the solemn events dedicated to the Turkmen Horse Day. Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov attended the competition. The celebrations are held in honor of the "heavenly horses" in Ashgabat.
The Turkmen President welcomed the audience. After listening to the welcome speech, he exchanged gifts with the elders. Afterwards, the president observed the performances. The best and very valuable species were presented for jury's consideration.
The Turkmen President expressed his attitude towards the Akhal-Teke horses. He mounted his horse, greeted the guests, state ministers, heads of diplomatic missions, as well as the specialists of the breed who arrived from the world countries invited by the Turkmen side to participate in the festivities.
The winner of the competition got a special prize - a car.
