President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite visited the Alley of Honors to lay a wreath at the tomb of architect and founder of Azerbaijani state, National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
She also put flowers at the grave of prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva
Grybauskaite has also visited the Alley of Martyrs to commemorate Azerbaijani heroes who gave their lives for the country's independence and territorial integrity. A guard of honor was lined up for the Lithuanian President here.
She laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument.
A military orchestra played the national anthems of Lithuania and Azerbaijan.
Then, the President enjoyed panoramic view of Azerbaijan's capital.
