WikiLeaks's documents on Kazakh state officials do not reflect sensationalism and secrecy, Kazakh presidential adviser Ermuhambet Yertysbayev said. Therefore, publication in the media of secret dispatches of the American Embassy will not cause public excitement.

"Anything that is not prohibited is allowed. If a problem occurs, it is obviously not a problem of the Kazakh officials, but Americans', " Yertysbayev said in an interview to "Liter" newspaper. He commented on some of the Kazakh media's initiatives to publish the secret dispatches of the U.S. embassy in Kazakhstan.

Some Kazakh media outlets, including KazTAG and "The Voice of the Republic" newspaper, have recently begun to cooperate with WikiLeaks. WikiLeaks's Founder Julian Assange initiated this himself. Media outlets will publish the materials given to them by WikiLeaks, but the media outlets themselves will decide as to exactly what will be disclosed.
