The staff of the Kazakh Supreme Court is expected to be significantly changed, the new chairman of the Kazakh Supreme Court Bektas Beknazarov said.

"The office of the Supreme Court will be significantly changed," Beknazarov said at a meeting of the Supreme Judicial Council.

He said that the formal approach was used while recruiting. The recent resignation of six judges, accused of corruption, poses the problem to strengthen the requirements for staff policy in the judicial system.

Six judges of the Supreme Court have been recently accused of corruption and dismissed. The head of the Supreme Court Musabek Alimbekov wrote a statement on resignation to the president.

According to the President's proposal, chairman of the Aktobe Court Bektas Beknazarov, having the 30 year-experience in the judicial system, was appointed supreme judge.
