President Ilham Aliyev visited the monument raised as a tribute to the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic on Istiglaliyyat Street of Baku on the Republic Day.
A guard of honor was lined up around the monument.
The President laid a wreath at the monument.
The national anthem of Azerbaijan Republic was performed.
Upon completion of the ceremony, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev got acquainted with the works, carried out on Istiglaliyyat Street and around the "Icherisheher" metro station.
