The Georgian People's Assembly continues to struggle using any legitimate means, the organization's Chairman Nona Gaprindashvili said at a press briefing on Monday.

The briefing was also attended by the leaders of the People's Assembly Nino Burjanadze, Irakli Batiashvili and others.

They expressed their condolences to the families of those who were killed during the rally. "We also express our solidarity and support to those arrested and promise that we will not stop our struggle," Gaprindashvili said.

In turn, Nino Burjanadze said she is proud of the people who were at the side of the People's Assembly representatives during the rally. She also urged the media to objectively cover all events and not to disseminate biased information.

Two people were killed and several injured during the clashes between the Georgian opposition and law enforcement agencies on the night of May 26.
