Azerbaijan is interested in providing Europe with energy resources. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov made this statement during a meeting with the U.S. State Department Special Envoy for Eurasian Energy Richard Morningstar, the Foreign Ministry said.
Mammadyarov spoke about the success of the energy strategy which has been implemented by Azerbaijan.
Morningstar expressed his satisfaction with the 18th International Caspian Oil and Gas, Refining & Petrochemicals Exhibition and Conference. He appreciated the importance of implementing energy projects in the region and ensuring the prospects associated with global energy security.
Views were exchanged at the meeting on global energy issues and the situation in the region.
