President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today been officially welcomed to Slovenia, the Azerbaijani President's official website reported.
A guard of honor was lined up for the Azerbaijani leader in front of Brdo Castle decorated with the national flags of the two countries.
Slovenian President Danilo Turk welcomed President Ilham Aliyev.
The presidents inspected a ceremonial guard of honor as an orchestra played the national anthems of Azerbaijan and Slovenia.
Slovenian state and government officials were introduced to President Ilham Aliyev, while members of the Azerbaijani delegation to President Danilo Turk.
