Iranian MPs gave their vote of confidence to Alireza Nikzad as the Road and Urban Development Minister on Sunday, ISNA reported.
Nikzad received 205 votes in support of the nomination, 16 against, and 16 abstentions. The parliament approved Nikzad as the Road and Urban Development Minister.
Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi also attended the parliament session. During the session, no MP spoke in favor or against Nikzad.
Earlier, the Iranian Parliament impeached former minister Hamid Bebehani and Nikzad performed the minister's duties since then.
