Kyrgyz delegation to visit Azerbaijan

An extended delegation of the Kyrgyz government will visit Azerbaijan in the near future, the Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament Ahmatbek Keldibekov said on Monday at a meeting with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Oktay Asadov during his visit to Azerbaijan.

He said during the visit, he held talks on the strengthening of relations in economic, humanitarian and cultural spheres.

At the meeting, Keldibekov stressed his country's interest in cooperation with dynamically developing Azerbaijan in various spheres.

Keldibekov said that the purpose of the visit of the expanded delegation to Azerbaijan is to deepen the cooperation between the legislative bodies of the two countries.

At the meeting, Asadov said that the memorandum of cooperation signed during the visit of the delegation of the Kyrgyz parliament will serve the development of relations between the two countries. The Speaker praised the activities of the friendship groups in both parliaments and stressed the successful cooperation of MPs in international organizations and support to each other's positions on key issues.
